(Regulations for Maintenance of Valve-control Sealed Lead-acid Battery)

(1) In using the socket joint battery, it is recommended to use the jack type wire for connection. If searing-iron welding is necessary, complete welding with 60W searing-iron in 5 seconds.

(2) In using the converter like UPS, avoid countercurrent from the converter. Special attention shall be given to reliability in using as the emergency power in UPS and telephone exchange.

Recommended replacement occasions:
(Determine the replacement period subject to the average ambient temperature of NP battery application)

NP Battery Temperature　　　 Replacement Period
20～25℃(normal temp.)　　　 Within 3 years
30℃ 　　　　　　　　　　　　Within 2.5 years
40℃ 　　　　　　　　　　　　Within 1.4 years

Don't use (with power-on) the batteries exceeding replacement period, which may lead to power-out, flame or explosion due to decrease of content.

(3) Don't put it near to flame or cause shortcut.

(4) Don't decompose. In case of vitriol fro the broken battery splashing on skin or clothes, flush immediately with clear water. In case of contact with eyes, flush with clear water before seeing the doctor.

(5) The battery will lose its function if it gets wet. Don't put in rain or in water. Don't put it in flame, or it may get broken.

(6) Contact our company for discharge of batteries in quantity. Don't abandon at random, because they will cause contamination to our environment.
